Has anyone provided any comment on the pretty cool Twitters that came out of Mark Dantonio’s Twitter today with the images of these high school football players being emblazoned on the various iconic buildings and settings across the sensational Michigan State University campus?
The highlights from some of the players’ exceptional moments as high school football players are great, too.
When I committed to Michigan State, my face was not integrated into a nifty video in a way that made my face and my high school bona fides appear on the facade of Beaumont Tower.
And, by the way – this kid from Naperville Central – Payton Thorne – is going to be fantastic.
I can hear that guy who runs recruiting for another powerhouse football program in the state of Michigan making fun of how Payton Thorne changed his commitment from Western Michigan to Michigan State because that’s just not exciting enough for the way that clever and really smart guy runs the recruiting machine from his Twitter feed.
I wonder if that guy will still be around when Payton Thorne is in the process of repeating a lot of the accomplishments of Kirk Cousins.
Hey, Payton Thorne – I’ll look past the fact that I always have had a preference for Naperville North and extend a hearty and warm welcome to the Michigan State experience.
Go talk with your new buddy and future backfield mate Max Rosenthal from New Trier – he’ll tell you that you just made a sensational decision.
Looking forward to following you and everyone else in this class of Spartans who will work to add additional Big Ten Championship hardware to the Michigan State Spartans trophy cases that represent the greatness of the Mark Dantonio Era.
And by the way – love the jersey number. That’s tight.
