New Nebraska head coach Scott Frost returned to his home after being away this past weekend and was prompted to contact the Lincoln Police Department in order to report many items had apparently been stolen from his home.

Frost reported that his 1997 National Championship and Big 12 Championship rings had been purloined along with other items that totaled an estimated overall value of $165,000.

However, according to reports beginning to trickle out of Lincoln, Scott Frost has now located some – or, perhaps, many – of the items he had thought were stolen.

Some reports – albeit unsubstantiated – have suggested that the aforementioned National Championship and Big 12 Championship rings may have been in the downstairs closet next to the powder room.

According to other reports – again, unsubstantiated – memorabilia, photographs, football helmets, and shoes that were thought to have been stolen were located in the laundry room and the kitchen pantry.

There are still some items that are believed to be missing.

However, Frost and his family are considering the possibility that Frost’s niece, who was taking care of the house while Frost was gone, may have inadvertently placed some of those items in her Louis Vuitton handbag upon her departure.

Some anonymous sources that are close to the Frost family have speculated that the items may have been moved by the woman who the Frosts pays to clean the home every other week.

After a two-season hiatus, Michigan State will renew its cross-divisional rivalry with Nebraska on Saturday, November 17th in Lincoln.
