Arthur of Stilmore, GA stood at his post where he ensured that the beef and vegetable stew was appropriately hot and stirred often enough to keep the stew’s broth from coagulating.

Not far from Arthur, butter triangles were elegantly placed in order to allow diners to moisten and flavorfy their rolls and slices of bread –

In a nod to SEC-country tastebuds, the College Football Hall of Fame gave the media the opportunity to enjoy scrumptious fried catfish bites, tasty collared greens, sweet baked beans, and savory rolls –

The desert offerings were tempting, delicious, and varied.  Here, Steve Dimitri – and SEC Compliance Department Intern – appears to be choosing a brownie –

Over in the area where the SEC Network was broadcasting its coverage of the event live, former Auburn head coach Gene Chizik was being aided with his earpiece by an ESPN Production executive.  I asked Coach Chizik if he enjoyed providing television analysis of SEC Media Days more than participating in the Media Days as an actual head coach – he did not provide me with an audible answer.

In its admirable efforts to strategically brand the conference and celebrate it’s unique and bold slogan, the SEC Marketing Team made a smart decision to have this banner hanging proudly in the media room –

Much more to come from SEC Media Days…..
