UMAA's Devin Bush Tries To Throw Shade At "Lil Bros"

UMAA linebacker makes it clear that he’s not a History major.

Umm, really?

Devin Bush didn’t just refer to Spartans as “Lil bros” did he?

I’ll answer my own question – yes, he did.

This is remarkable.

It’s sort of like Chuck Wepner demonstrating braggadocio about how two of the judges gave him Round 5 against Ali.

Or it’s kind of similar to the French Army sending out a boastful tweet about the way they performed at the Battle of the Passage of Douro on May 16th, 1809.

Ot it’s a little bit comparable to Dickie Noles sending out an Instagram thing that expresses his contempt for not being in the Hall of Fame.

Or it’s somewhat like Colin Montgomerie creating his own YouTube channel on which he pontificates about how the world of sport doesn’t respect him to the extent warranted.

Or it’s a bit like Chicago White Sox fans claiming that things are unfair and their club is really the one that rocks.

Or it’s a bit like college football people thinking that Brady Hoke would make for a good head coaching hire.

Goodness – do we really have to go through this whole “Lil bros” thing again with these people?

We can pull out the Mike Hart video and the Dantonio response and all of the highlights ever since then for the four hundredth time if necessary.

As we’ll continue to say here at SpartansWire, if the UMAAers think this is the way to roll, I guess it’s cool with us since it’s been the recipe for our complete domination since before Devin Bush even knew how to find the state of Michigan on a map.

Seriously, guys – keep flapping and tweeting and making moronic videos about how nobody has it better than you.

Please.

Just keep on being you.

We’ll just keep on winning lots and lots of football games – including the ones against you guys….

But, yeah – the “Lil bros” thing – good call.

‘Lil bros’ at Michigan State get attention of Michigan’s Devin Bush

Devin Bush didn’t start it. But he couldn’t help jumping in.

The Michigan linebacker was targeted Wednesday by someone who uses the Twitter handle @SpartyDigital, who wrote:

“Just read an article that referred to Devin Bush as ‘the most terrifying player in college football.’ Don’t tell that to Luke Campbell.”

A video accompanying the tweet showed Michigan State offensive tackle Luke Campbell shoving Bush over two fallen players during last year’s rivalry game at Michigan Stadium.

Bush’s response:

“Lil bros talking? They must be out of timeout now.”

The reference, of course, is to the famous quote by former Wolverines running back Mike Hart in 2007, when he called MSU a “little brother” to Michigan.

Twitter user @SpartyDigital answered back on Thursday by posting video highlights of MSU’s 14-10 victory over Michigan last season.

The teams meet again Oct. 20 in Spartan Stadium.
