Celebrating With UMAA - Sharing Joy Stemming From Stunning Victories

Last second buzzer-beater for UMAA gives UMAA fans good reason for cheer.  Let’s celebrate with them by sharing another great moment when victory was earned in stunning fashion.

A lot of euphoria and excitement and thrills and cheering and yelling and running around and loving life and celebrating the wonders of miraculous finishes going on with our friends from UMAA.

Great shot by the UMAA freshman, Jordan Poole.

Great execution on the overall play by John Beilein’s players to even get the ball into Poole’s hands.

Great reaction by the UMAA players – watching them chase Poole around the court was cute and fun.

As I sat there watching it all unfold, I couldn’t help but be reminded of another somewhat exciting finish to a game that featured UMAA.

The difference between the game that popped into my mind and last night’s win for UMAA was that the win that popped into my mind will always and forever – no matter what – serve all Spartans as the picture-perfect remedy to any dramatic UMAA win like last night’s.

So, in honor of Jordan Poole and all of the people who wear the very, very shiny yellow shirts while yelling “GO BLUE!”, let’s share with our UMAA friends another great, exciting moment that they might find interesting today.

This will never, ever go away.

It lives on forever.

Forever and ever the moment will play out this way.

The snap won’t be fielded cleanly.

The attempt on the part of the Australian punter to do whatever he was trying to do after he……..had trouble with the snap……..will always and forever be a disaster.

The ball will always neatly and perfectly be fielded by Jalen Watts-Jackson.

Jalen Watts-Jackson will always and forever have the perfect instinctive reaction to fielding the ball, running with the ball, and reaching the endzone with the ball.

Jake Butt will forever and ever be completely destroyed by the Spartan attack in his feckless attempt to do………nothing.

UMAA’s head coach will forever and ever look like a clueless man on the sideline once the play has been completed and the final result of the game is not in any doubt.

And, no matter what ever happens – forever – nothing will ever happen that will make this go away and nothing will ever happen that will make this become some sort of a “second place” moment for every single Michigan State Spartan.

And before we share the link to the video below, take a look at what hangs in my kitchen.

It’s a gift that was given to me by my kids the Christmas after this thing happened and it might be my most treasured possession –

UMAA folks – nice job with that cute shot last night.

Best of luck to you all as you continue to try to win games in the Tournament.
